Located along Highway 156, this project will fill a critical gap in EV charging stations between Silicon Valley and the Central Valley, making travel more convenient for EV drivers who currently face limited charging options.

Positioned within the Windmill Market shopping center, the hub not only provides fast chargers but also gives visitors access to restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries during their charging sessions. This strategic location aligns with the city’s ambitious vision to achieve 100% clean energy use, reinforcing its commitment to electrification and reduced emissions.

The Windmill Market EV Hub is expected to contribute to environmental goals by reducing CO₂ emissions by 6,850 tons annually. This is equivalent to 700,000 gallons of gasoline avoided per year!

The project is spearheaded by Mynt Systems, a forward-thinking development, engineering, and construction firm with over 100 years of combined expertise in energy efficiency, solar, and project management. Financial Information

The investment opportunity is structured as a Construction Plus Term Loan over a total period of up to 7 years, with an annual interest rate of 9% per annum.

• Construction Period: During the construction phase (up to 2 years), quarterly interest-only payments equal to 4% annually will be made. Unpaid interest will be added to the principal balance.

• Post-Construction Term: Upon completion of construction and receipt of a $500,000 EnergIIZE grant, the loan converts into a 5-year term loan amortized over 10 years. Principal and interest payments of 9% per annum will be made quarterly.
